Freeze Tag Celebrates Successful “Cyber Munzday” Promotions
TUSTIN, CA, November 29, 2018 – Freeze Tag (OTC: FRZT), a leading creator of location-based mobile social games, ran a successful sale on “Cyber Munzday” alongside the launch of a variety of new products.
As part of the annual online shopping celebration Cyber Monday, Freeze Tag’s flagship game Munzee launched new products including the Muru Pouch Creature, the Bowling Ball Munzee and a 2018 advent calendar.
“This Cyber Munzday really blew away our expectations,” said Rob Vardeman, President of Freeze Tag. “Our community of players have once again shown their passion for the game with an overwhelmingly positive response to these new products.”
The first wave of 500 Muru Munzees, which are the latest cuddly critter from the Pouch Creature Munzee line, sold out within 4 minutes of being released. More Muru Munzees were released throughout the day, and ultimately they all sold out by the end of the sale. Muru is an earth Pouch Creature that travels around the world bouncing on regular Munzees and Earth Mystery Munzees.
The Bowling Ball Munzee, which is an all new addition to a line of mini-game products, proved to be one of the most successful physical Munzee launches of all time. The Bowling Ball Munzee is a physical game piece that initiates a real-world mini game based on ten-pin bowling. Bowling Ball Munzees came in sheets of 10 for $15 ($1.50 each) on Cyber Munzday, and Freeze Tag completely sold out of stock within hours. More stock has been ordered and sheets of Bowling Ball Munzees are currently for sale for $25 in the Freeze Tag Online Store.
The 2018 Munzee Advent Calendar proved to be the biggest surprise of Cyber Munzday. By the end of the sale nearly 1,200 Advent Calendars were sold to players around the world. Based on the popular Christmas countdown tradition, this collection of Munzee products gives players the opportunity to earn themed rewards each day in December leading up to the holiday. The Advent Calendar, which sold for $25 on Cyber Munzday, will be for sale again in early December for those that missed out on the deal.
