Company to Launch New Apps for Apple’s New Wearable Technology

TUSTIN, CA, May 6, 2015 — Freeze Tag (OTC: FRZT), a leading creator of mobile social games, announced today that it will soon launch games and entertainment apps designed specifically for the new Apple Watch from Apple Inc.

“We’ve come up with some innovative games and apps that are fun to play on the Apple Watch,” said Craig Holland of Freeze Tag. “We intend to develop games that extend and cross promote our current mobile games, as well as standalone games and apps that users can play solely on the Apple Watch. The wearables category is in a very early stage, so we believe the potential market upside is substantial.”

According to IDC, the “smart wearables” market, or those capable of running third party applications like the Apple Watch, Motorola’s Moto 360 and Samsung’s Gear products, is set to skyrocket in 2015. By the end of the year, IDC projects 25.7 million smart wearable units will be sold, up 510% from the 4.2 million units sold in 2014. IDC projects Apple will dominate the market with over 15 million units sold and a 62% market share.

So far, demand for the Apple Watch has exceeded supply with most consumers who want to own one having to wait weeks for delivery. Compared to the iPhone/iPad App Store, which boasts millions of apps, the Apple Watch App Store is not overcrowded yet, with only a few thousand apps available. The most popular category, in terms of number of apps, is Utility, with a 12% share of the Apple Watch store market.

Freeze Tag indicated that they will be issuing more information about specific apps and games developed for the Apple Watch in the coming weeks.
