Freeze Tag Launches Location-Specific Game Pieces Throughout Great Britain
TUSTIN, CA, October 12, 2018 – Freeze Tag (OTC: FRZT), a leading creator of location-based mobile social games, has launched a variety of new virtual game pieces for their flagship game Munzee.
In a continued effort to expand gameplay into culturally significant locations, Munzee has launched a new virtual game piece throughout Great Britain. Known as Great Britain Iconic Location Munzees, this new type is exclusive to England, Scotland and Wales. Previously location-specific munzees have been deployed in Texas, California, Florida and world heritage sites across the world.
Similar to the other Tourism Munzees, the Iconic Location Munzees are deployed by an official Freeze Tag account based on a database of historically and culturally significant attractions. A portion of the new locations were also provided by the London-based Munzee player pilsleyguy.
“There is a particularly active Munzee gameplay community throughout England. With the help of pilsleyguy and our location research team, we were able to find some truly unique areas throughout Great Britain,” said Rob Vardeman, President of Freeze Tag. “Munzee is about exploration and discovery. These location-specific game pieces correlate directly with those goals.”
These all new munzees have been deployed at a variety of areas like the Robin Hood Statue in Nottingham, Sir Steve Redgrave Statue in Marlow, and The Martian in Woking. Players will find these munzees across each of the counties in England. Freeze Tag plans to continue rolling out location-specific game pieces to other areas worldwide as well.
Freeze Tag has also released a new Places Munzee game piece which players will be able to purchase and deploy virtually at unique attractions worldwide. Although Tourism Munzees like the Iconic Location Munzees are deployed by an official Freeze Tag account, Places Munzees are deployed by players at various points of interest depending on the type.
Unique Attractions Munzees are expected to be deployed at a wide variety of wonderfully weird tourist hotspots. These areas can include roadside attractions like the World’s Largest Ball Of Twine in Kansas, or the Mirror Ball in England.
