Freeze Tag Launches Flat Hammock Virtual Munzee

TUSTIN, CA, October 18, 2018 – Freeze Tag (OTC: FRZT), a leading creator of location-based mobile social games, today announced a new virtual product for their flagship mobile scavenger hunt game Munzee.

Freeze Tag is proud to announce the release of Flat Hammock, the newest in a line of character game pieces which also include Flat Rob, Flat Matt and Flat Lou. The latest team member to be “flattened” is Daniel Hammock, who has been running Munzee’s customer support for the past five years.

“The Flat Friends line of virtual game pieces continue to be one of the most popular aspects of Munzee gameplay,” said Rob Vardeman, President of Freeze Tag. “As the leader of Munzee Support, Daniel Hammock has proven himself to be a staple in our player community and wholly deserving of joining the Flat Friends.”

Although he started off as a player, in Hammock’s own words, his “dream came true” when he was given “the opportunity of a lifetime” to work for Munzee. Even before officially joining the team, Hammock always took it upon himself to help out the Munzee community with any and all issues that would arise. Much like previous Flat Friend releases, Flat Hammock was consistently requested by the Munzee player community.

Based on members of the Munzee gameplay development team, the Flat Friends line of virtual game pieces have been very popular within the community. Since the release of the first Flat Friend in October 2015, Flat Robs have been captured 12,171,285 times. Flat Matts were released in May 2017 and have since been captured 1,950,054 times. Flat Lous have been captured 448,271 times since being released in May 2018.

The release of Flat Hammock coincides with a Munzee player challenge which will unlock double points on all Flat Friend munzees during MH-BOO Bash weekend. Last Friday players were challenged to attend Munzee Events and capture specific event pins throughout the weekend. With more than 60 events in the first weekend alone, players accomplished their goal and unlocked double points on all Flat Friend virtual munzees from October 26-28. October is set to break the record for most Munzee Events in a month. There are currently more than 130 events throughout October all over the world.
