Freeze Tag Announces Fairy Mythological Munzee

TUSTIN, CA, September 20, 2018 – Freeze Tag (OTC: FRZT), a leading creator of location-based mobile social games, today will release a new Fairy Mythological game piece for their flagship mobile game Munzee. A limited number of virtual Fairy Munzees will be released for sale in the Freeze Tag online store at 10 AM CST. After the initial release, there will be more available for sale at various points throughout the day in order to meet the demand.
The Fairy is a Mythological Munzee that travels around the world bouncing on generic physical munzees (also known as Greenies), regular Mystery Munzees and virtual Air Mystery Munzees. Each individually numbered Fairy Munzee is purchased by a player. That virtual game piece then travels around the worldwide map to be captured by other players.
The release of the Fairy Munzee coincides with the game’s International Talk Like A Pirate Day seasonal specials campaign. The worldwide community was given a challenge to capture 1,500 Pirate Ship seasonal specials within 48 hours to unlock the Fairy Munzee. The three Pirate Ship specials were released on Monday September 17, 2018 and the challenge was accomplished soon after.
“Although we release Mythological Munzees periodically throughout the year, we wanted to offer our players a challenge for the launch of the Fairy, ” said Rob Vardeman, President of Freeze Tag. “Our players love seasonal specials, so introducing a worldwide capture contest that unlocks such a high profile game piece has been very well received throughout the player community.”
Seasonal special munzees are game pieces that players can capture during specific time frames and usually relate to a theme or holiday at that time. In the past Munzee has released seasonal specials for World Bacon Day, International Yoga Day, Friday The 13th and more. Seasonal specials have consistently proven to be a driving force for increased player interaction and gameplay. Pirate Ship seasonal specials will remain on the map through Sunday September 23, 2018.
